Hey, what's up, dogs? It's a beautiful day and I'm just strolling along. Droop-a-dee-doo-dah, Droop-a-dee-ay...
Oh, hi, Grandpa. ...My, oh, my, what a wonderful...
Wait! Grandpa!
"Eh? What is it, laddie?"
Your tail!
"Me tail?" Grandpa asked, perplexed. "What about me tail?"
The right! It bends to the right!
"Aye, so it does," Grandpa Angus agreed.
I have it too! See?
Spunky, Patch, and I learned about this earlier this year. When a dog's tail wags to the right, it means they're a very happy and friendly dog.
So...I guess it runs in the family?
"Eh, incredible, laddie!" Grandpa exclaimed. "And here I always thought it was from me rheumatism. But now that I think about it...it looked that way even when I was a wee pup."
Looks like Grandpa Angus and I have something in common! Hope you have a good week, everyone. And remember...wag to the right!

A tail of three dogs...conclusion
Hey, what's up, dogs? Last time we left you with a cliffhanger...again. Spunky and Patch had noticed that my tail bends waaaaaaay to the right...
...and Spunky had gone on the Internet to search for possible causes.
And he found something.
"Mmm-hmm," he muttered. "Very interesting."
What??? What's interesting??? Is it something bad??? Do I have a serious illness??? Do I need surgery???...
"No, no," Spunky said quickly. "Here. Look at this article."
Patch and I crowded around to get a closer look.
"According to this article," said Spunky, "some scientists did a study on dog communication and tail wagging. The dogs who wagged to the right seemed happier and friendlier."
Oh. So if my tail bends waaaaaaaay to the right....
"I guess it means you're an extremely happy and friendly dog," Patch said.
"Which we knew already," Spunky added. "That's why you're our best friend."
Awwww....thanks guys. You're the best!
Whew. It's such a relief to know there's nothing seriously wrong with my tail.
"So are you thinking about getting it straightened?" Patch asked.
Nah, I'm not going to get it straightened. As long as it's healthy, I'll just keep wagging to the right. It means I'm happy, right?
Till next time!

A tail of three dogs
Hey, what's up, dogs? Today I made a somewhat...disturbing discovery. Or rather, my friends did.
It was another beautiful spring day, and I was ready to lead the pack outside to enjoy the sunny weather, when...
"Hey, Droopy!" Patch exclaimed. "Did you know your tail bends to the right?"
...What?
"Wow, yes!" Spunky said. "Your tail bends waaaaaaaaay to the right."
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat?
I asked my human to take a picture of my back end so I could see for myself. Sure enough, my tail bends to the right.
And not just a little bit, either.
"Well, doesn't every dog's tail bend like this?" I asked.
"Not mine," Spunky said.
"Not mine," Patch said.
Oh. Hmmm.
"Has anyone ever stepped on your tail and broken it?" Spunky asked.
No, I think I'd remember that.
"Maybe you were born with it," Patch said.
Well...but nobody has ever noticed it before.
"Maybe you should see a chiropractor," Patch suggested. "I hear they're good at straightening things out."
I just hope this isn't a sign of a more serious medical condition.
"Don't worry, I'm on it," Spunky said. He hopped onto the computer to do some research.
"Mmm-hmm," he muttered. "Mmm-hmm. Very interesting."
Oh dear. Remember, Spunky went to the University of Muttecine and Dogistry, like me. And whenever a medical professional says "Very interesting," it makes me very nervous. I wonder what he found?...
