4H show

Hey, what's up, dogs?  Today Grandpa Angus and I are going to the 4H Agricultural Fair.  There should be sheep, cows, goats, and horses.  I can't wait to see all the cool--

Err.  Hmmm.  This is an unexpected setback.

My human decided to be sneaky.  She hid us in her backpack and sneaked past the officials.  Don't tell anyone, please.

First stop, Sheep and Goats.  Awww...look at those baby goats!

The sheep below had just been sheared.  We were glad for it, because it was about 90 degrees outside.
Can you imagine...wearing a wool sweater in that kind of heat?  Poor sheep...

There was another sheep that was having a baaa-aaaa-aaaad hair day.  Heh heh, get it?  Baaa-aaa-aaad hair day?...

Here's a basket of spun and unspun wool.  This'll make some nice cozy sweaters when winter returns.
Looks like we're done with the Sheep and Goat Exhibits.  Wonder what's next?...

  2. Neat! Do you mean to say though that cats would be allowed in the barns? With all those baby chicks around?? Hmph... seems like discrimination to be. You might want to get Little Fox campaigning for your rights!

    1. Sadly, my lobbying skills are not really effective.

    2. Yeah...I'm not sure whether exclusion of dogs implies admittance of cats. It better not, though!
