At last...the YEAR of the DOG!

Hey, what's up, dogs?  Just a quick post to wish you all a very Happy Chinese New Year.  This year is an especially important Chinese New Year, because it's the Year of the DOG

It's about darn time! My human tells me that a Dog Year only comes around every twelve years.

According to the Internet, people born during the Year of the Dog are honest, friendly, faithful, loyal, and smart.  Yeah...that sounds very dog-like to me.

So...ahem.  Since this is the Year of the Dog, I should be getting extra special treatment for a whole year, right?  Like more bacon-flavored treats, and more tummy rubs?  I'll have to remind my human about this.  I think I have a good case.

Hope you have a great day!

Happy Chinese New Year

Hey, what's up, dogs?  We are here today to wish you all a very Happy New Year!  Yes, yes, I know, we just had a New Year, but today is different--it's the Chinese New Year!  So we get to celebrate all over again.

Every year on Chinese New Year, Chinese families exchange traditional red envelopes that sometimes contain money or treats.  So, our human has given us each an envelope of our own.

Hey!  Spunky!  What are you doing?  Are you peeking?...

You might not want to do that.  Remember what happened last time you poked your head somewhere it didn't belong.

All right, everybody, on three, open your envelopes.  One...two...three!
Snacks!  Yum.  Anyway, have a happy Year of the Monkey, everyone...the next Year of the Dog is in 2018!

Till next time...
