Stuffie Olympics!

Hey, what's up, dogs?  Today my friends and I thought we'd share our photo entries for Ajdin's 2016 Stuffie Olympics competition.

Here's Team U.S.A. prepping for the javelin throw...

Next, the team practices for soccer.  Grandpa Angus was the referee.

"Now, I want a nice, clean match, boys!" he exclaimed.

Lastly, Spunky shows off his skills in rhythmic gymnastics:

We had a great time!  Did you watch the Rio Olympics?

A dried-up beach, part 2

Hey, what's up, dogs?  We're back and continuing our stroll down this man-made beach.

As I said last time, the water level in the reservoir is lower than it's ever been, so we're walking on sand that normally wouldn't be exposed.

And we're finding some interesting stuff.  For example...

It's like a treasure hunt.  This is right up Indiana Fox's alley!

Uh-oh...did I just feel a raindrop?  The weather's been cloudy all day.  Looks like we should head back.

We encountered a local resident shortly after we turned around...

In an effort to be generous, my human scattered the leftover bread crusts from our sandwich...and all of a sudden, a whole FLOCK of his friends descended out of the sky.

My human said it reminded her of the Alfred Hitchcock film, The Birds.  (*shudder*)  Thank goodness these were friendly fowl!

All right everybody, that's it for now.  We'll see you again next time...

A dried-up beach, part 1

Hey, what's up, dogs?  Today my human and I have picked up some food, and we're headed to...(drumroll please)...

...the local reservoir, where's there's a park with lots of greenery and nice, peaceful benches.
There's also a man-made beach along the banks of the reservoir.  Unfortunately, due to recent lack of rain, the beach is closed to swimmers.
But that's okay, we can still relax and have our lunch.  Ah, this looks like a good spot.

We have a nice view from here, too.

Mmmm.  Yum.  That was a really good sandwich.  I think I'll work off the calories by taking a little walk along the beach.

Hey...what's this?  They look like tracks of some sort.
And they go on and on and on...

Now I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty sure those are NOT dog tracks.  Hold on a second.

(*STOMP*)

Yeah.  See, here's my track:

Pretty sure those first tracks were from deer.  Perhaps my blog friends can confirm.  I wonder what else we can find on this dried-up beach?...
