You oughta be in pictures.

Hey, what's up, dogs? Recently I submitted an entry to Little Fox's 1st Annual Stuffy Film Festival. Many thanks to Little Fox for sponsoring this contest!

Here's a production still of me and Al the Gator on the set of our movie, Crocodile Dogdee.

I would like to thank Al for always treating me as a fellow professional (and not as a snack) during the production of our film.

I'll post a link to my complete film and the other entries after the results are in.  I can't wait to see the other entries...have to stock up on popcorn.

Till next time!

UPDATE!  Click here to navigate to the other entries, and here for Crocodile Dogdee!

Let's rap!

Yo yo yo...whuzzup dogs? This is DJ Droop Dogg coming to you live from your favorite station, WDOG.  We got some "sweet beatz" and some "yummy treatz" coming your way today.

In fact...you may not know this, but I've been practicing a rap.  Wanna hear?

Ahem...here goes...

My name is Droop and I'm here to say
I love my bacon in a major way

....

....

....

Errrrr...

...Oh dear.  That's all I can think of for now.

I am appealing to you all to help me with the next two lines of my rap.  Can you suggest something and put it in the comments below?  Please keep it family-friendly.  Thanks!

It's a dog eat dog world.

What's up, dogs?

Today was a good day.  For lunch, I had a hot dog.  For some reason, my human served it to me with beans. I'm not sure why...it was perfectly fine by itself.

Although...hmm.  Some additional meat might have been nice.  A few strips of bacon...or some chili, perhaps?

What are your favorite hot dog toppings?

W is for...what?

What's up, dogs?

As you know, my middle initial is W.  Recently, someone asked me what it stood for.  Now, you have to understand...my middle name is a deep, dark secret.  Even Patch, who's been my buddy since obedience school, doesn't know what it is.

I have never told anyone before, and I don't plan to tell anyone.  Ever.

"Awww...come on," said Patch.  "Look, I know.  We'll tell you our middle names first.  Okay, Spunky?"

"Okay, sure," Spunky said.  "My middle name is Bones."

"And my middle name is Benjamin," Patch added.

"Come on, you're next," Patch wheedled.

Nope.  I am not telling anyone.  They are going to have to guess.

"Hmmm...maybe it's William?" Patch asked.  "Like Prince William?"

"No," I said.

"How about Woody?" Spunky said.

"That's not it," I replied.

"It could be Winston," Patch guessed.

"Nope," I said.

"Or maybe Wolfgang?" Spunky suggested.

"Wrong again," I said.

When I left the room many minutes later, we had learned a lot about many famous people with "W" names, but they still hadn't guessed correctly. I feel  more confident now.  My name is somewhat unique, so I doubt anybody will ever be able to guess it.

My secret is safe.  Whew...what a relief! I'll sleep much better tonight.

What's your middle name?

Happy 2015! My New Year's Resolutions

What's up dogs?  I hope you are all doing well.  Happy New Year!  Can you believe it's 2015 already?

I thought this would be a good time to share with you my New Year's Resolutions.  My human tells me that making them public will help me to keep them.  I hope she's right.

Here we go...

DROOPY'S 2015 NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS

1)  Learn to say "bacon" in as many languages as possible.

(This one is a matter of survival.  You just never know when you'll get stranded in a foreign country and have to rely on the kindness of strangers.  I'm not too proud to beg.)

That reminds me, I should also practice my Sad Puppy Dog Look.  What do you think?...

2)  Bury at least 10 bones in the backyard.

(I already have one bone from my Christmas stocking, and I've picked out a nice spot under this tree in the backyard...although I'll probably have to wait until spring, when the ground is softer.)

3)  Remember where I buried the 10 bones from last year.

4)  Stop making "small" jokes about Spunky.

(Nah, this one's way too difficult!)

What are your New Year's Resolutions?
